• Research Team includes 14 Investigators, 1 Research Manager, 6 Study Coordinators, 1 Administrator and 1 Clinical Trials Pharmacist
• The clinical trials portfolio aims to support the most common cancer streams and is a mixture of pharmaceutical, collaborative group and investigator initiated clinical trials
• Tumour Streams include: Breast, Lung, Colorectal, Upper GI, Prostate, Urology, Gynaecological, Skin, Melanoma and various Registry Studies

• Chemotherapy Day Unit (Dayward) comprising of 15 treatment chairs and 2 private rooms with bed
• Dedicated Central Processing and shipping room includes refrigerated centrifuge, minus 20 freezer, minus 80 freezer, refrigerated storage (2-8 degrees), adequate lab kit/manual storage, liquid nitrogen (Sponsor supplied)
• Backup generator for power outages to all equipment 24/7
• Pharmacy Blinded and un-blinded experience
• Annual Calibration of equipment
• Onsite secure, controlled access record storage
• NATA accredited Dorevitch Pathology (onsite) able to provide local phlebotomy, processing and reporting services, along with archival and fresh tissue preparation
• Pharmacokinetic (PK) and Pharmacodynamic (PD) testing capabilities and expertise
• Access to the major diagnostic tools including PET, CT, MRI, ultrasound, angiography, nuclear imaging and DEXA scans. Radiology assessments can be individualised and reported by suitably qualified radiologists according to protocol requirements
• All staff have GCP training and CASA accreditation to the current Dangerous Goods Regulations where applicable
• Dedicated monitoring facilities and ability to provide access to electronic systems which are CFR Title 21 Section 11 compliant
• Local archiving facilities
• Peninsula Health HREC is a participant in the NMA Scheme and the Victorian SERP as a reviewing and accepting site
• Local review of multi-site approved research projects within 1-2 weeks
• Average time from site activation to first patient on study is 4 weeks
